As professionals, we save more lives than take them; that is part of the honor and pride of being a Warrior in today's world. To perform this service, we need to be of sound mind, body, and spirit. We must physically and mentally be at the top of our game, and we must have the appropriate tools at hand to do our jobs properly and effectively. To neutralize evil is to give way to the prospect of a future for those where none existed. It is "life-giving" as we are able to plant hopes and dreams in the mind's eye of the next generation. It is the hallmark of our American Forces that at the most basic tenet is for each and every one of of their skill sets to be honed to precision. The same expectations should be applied to one's gear.
